Welcome to the Central England region

This region covers five sections: Midlands, East Midlands, East of England, Mid Anglia, Berkshire Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire . We have over 1,200 members in our region. We run educational, golf & networking events for our members. You can find local events on this page and all national and other regional events on the  ‘What’s On’ section of the website. Steve joined BIGGA in 2021 following a successful greenkeeping career.  Joining the industry aged 16, he has worked across the UK, Australia and New Zealand and spent 13 years as a course manager. In his role at BIGGA, he works on behalf of members in the Central England Region, helping to provide learning opportunities and the various other incredible initiatives available to members.

Paul joined Rothely Park as a 17-year-old in 2001 working his way up to deputy head, in 2021 he was a FTMI graduate, he then moved onto the Belfry before returning to Leicestershire to take up the deputy heads role at Scraptoft golf club . He is a keen sportsman having played semi-professional rugby Union for Rugby Lions RFC.
