Be part of our network of Mental Health First Aiders and support your fellow greenkeeping community when times get tough.

BIGGA is training its members to be Mental Health First Aiders, because personal wellbeing is just as important as professional development.

As a Mental Health First Aider, you’ll be equipped with the knowledge and skills to recognise mental health problems and crises, provide initial support and signpost to further help. You’ll be joining a network of BIGGA Mental Health First Aiders who are committed to reducing the stigma of mental health and supporting those in the greenkeeping community.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Two full day training sessions, delivered by a licensed MHFA England Associate Instructor
  • A nationally recognised certification, valid for 3 years upon completion
  • A manual and workbook to support your learning
  • 3-year Access to the MHFA England app
  • 3-year Access to the latest MHFA England online resources
  • 3-year Invitations to FREE MHFA England support sessions

The course is worth £300 per person, but offered to BIGGA Members for FREE.
