Contact Scott

Scott was formerly the course manager at Leyland Golf Club, where he spent 17 years. From 2019 to 2022 he was BIGGA Chairperson and he has volunteered at every level of the association. Scott became BIGGA's Head of Membership in June 2024, and is now Membership Director.

Contact John

John is membership services manager for Scotland & Northern Ireland, supporting BIGGA members in his daily duties and helping to ensure the effective operation of education and networking events within his region.

Contact Jenny

Jenny joined BIGGA in 2023 to lead on the workforce project to deliver First Green into the UK market and other initiatives to promote the greenkeeping profession.  With a background in education and in the NHS, Jenny's knowledge and skills are perfectly suited to the role.

Contact Niamh

Niamh joined the team in September 2024, initially as a Membership Administrator. Since then, she's assumed the role of Membership Executive and now aids in the organisation and delivery of BIGGA's various events and initiatives. 

Contact Roger

Having built significant experience within the golf industry in his role at the Professional Golfers' Association, Roger joined BIGGA in 2014 as membership services manager for Central England. Since January 2022 he moved to the Northern Region, where he works on behalf of BIGGA members to provide learning opportunities and various other membership initiatives.

Contact Kris

Kris joined BIGGA in July 2023 after a number of years working as a sports apprenticeship officer and rugby coach. He has made over 100 Welsh Premiership appearances for Ebbw Vale RFC and is currently captain of Pontypridd RFC.

Contact John

With over 15 years experience in the golf industry, including his role as Assistant Manager at West Surrey Golf Club, John works on behalf of BIGGA members in the South East Region, helping to provide learning opportunities and other incredible initiatives.

Contact Elly

Elly joined the membership team in April 2024, and is on hand to help with any questions and queries. Her favourite part of the job is speaking with the members and putting names to faces at BTME! 

Contact Nichola

Nichola joined the membership team in October 2025 and is always available to support our members. If you ever call BIGGA HQ, chances are you'll get Nichola's friendly voice on the other side ready to chat and help with any questions or queries.

Contact Rob

Rob is responsible for delivering the requirements of The GTC under their service level agreement with BIGGA. Rob was previously head of land-based apprenticeships at Berkshire College of Agriculture and spent 30 years as a greenkeeper, including 21 years as course manager at Sandy Lodge Golf Club in Middlesex.

Contact Tanya

Tanya works in the Education department managing CPD, Master Greenkeeper requests and our lending library to enable members to access the resources and support needed. She works in collaboration with the Greenkeepers Training Committee and Approved Training Providers to promote high standards in greenkeeping apprenticeships, qualifications and training courses.

Contact Eve

Eve originally joined BIGGA in September 2025 as our BTME Administrator to support the organisation and delivery of BTME & CTL 2026. Since then, Eve's moved to our education department and is now our Education & Office Administrator where she provides administrative support to to the education department, as well as supports the everyday running of BIGGA HQ.

Contact Deb

Deb is responsible for the organisation and operation of BIGGA’s learning opportunities throughout the year, including the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme, the Future Turf Managers Initiative (FTMI) and Toro Student Greenkeeper of the Year, alongside countless other activities. She also is responsible for the production of the Continue to Learn programme and delivery each year.

Contact Jo

Jo joined BIGGA in 2021 primarily to support with the delivery of BTME. Since then, most of Jo’s roles have been within the Education area of BIGGA, and is currently the Professional Development Coordinator. Her key role is to organise and deliver the Continue to Learn program at BTME (alongside the wider team) as well as organise various other opportunities available to our members throughout the year.

Contact Steve

BIGGA's longest-serving staff member, Steve is responsible for all the financial aspects of the operation of the association. A keen cricketer, he also volunteers with his local scout group.

Contact Joshua

Supporting Steve Wragg in the financial aspects of the association, Joshua is a talented accounts assistant and achieved his senior qualifications in October 2023.

Contact Lauren

As the lead of the Commercial, Marketing and Communications Department, Lauren has a wealth of knowledge both of the industry and diverse routes to market available to companies. She is also a graduate from the ‘Women in Golf’ Leadership programme and ‘CMI Advanced Sales and Leadership’ programme.

A regular presence at trade shows worldwide, Lauren values building strong relationships and providing support to both existing and prospective clients. She is the go-to contact for discussing commercial opportunities to showcase your products, BIGGA partnerships, a variety of sponsorship options across BIGGA, and exhibiting at BTME.

Contact Zoe

Always on the look-out for the latest trending topic, Zoe plays a key role in the conversations that BIGGA has with its members and the wider community as she oversees all of BIGGA’s social media activities. She is also helping to redevelop BIGGA’s marketing offering, to ensure that everyone is aware of the great benefits that come with BIGGA membership.

Contact Hope

The newest member of the BIGGA team, Hope joined the Commercial, Marketing and Communications department in March 2026. Her key role is to support Zoe with coordinating BIGGA's marketing and communications functions, as well as to support the development and creation of Greenkeeper International. 

Contact Gavin

Gavin joined BIGGA from outside the industry, but a background in B2B client services has helped facilitate a growth in partner and supporter agreements.

Always keeping abreast of the industry and seasonal factors, Gavin regularly liaises with companies to discuss the time-specific opportunities available to them.

Contact Tara

Tara joined the team in August 2023, initially as a part of BIGGA's membership team. Since then, she's shifted to supporting the association's commercial operations as an administrator.

Working closely with Gavin Rees, Tara's main focus lies with recruitment and supporting preparations for BTME.
