Each year, BIGGA also brings its international members together in person at BTME, the world’s second-largest turf education and trade show, held in Harrogate, England. This annual gathering meeting offers a valuable opportunity to connect with fellow members, industry leaders, and BIGGA representatives while experiencing one of the most important events in the global turf calendar.

Steve joined BIGGA in 2021 following a successful greenkeeping career.  Joining the industry aged 16, he has worked across the UK, Australia and New Zealand and spent 13 years as a course manager. In his role at BIGGA, he works on behalf of members in the Central England Region, helping to provide learning opportunities and the various other incredible initiatives available to members.

Scott was formerly the course manager at Leyland Golf Club, where he spent 17 years. From 2019 to 2022 he was BIGGA Chairperson and he has volunteered at every level of the association. Scott became BIGGA's Head of Membership in June 2024.
