An exciting opportunity has arisen at Lee on the Solent Golf Club for a Head Greenkeeper.
 
 We are now seeking an ambitious and driven Head Greenkeeper to help lead the next chapter of the club’s development.
 
 This is a unique moment to join Lee on the Solent. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager and Course Director, playing a key role in continuing to elevate standards while helping to shape the future direction of the course.

This role offers the chance to build on that foundation—leading the team on site while contributing to a wider vision that extends beyond a single club.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the greenkeeping team at Lee on the Solent Golf Club
  • Maintain and continue to improve course presentation and playing surfaces to the highest standards
  • Work collaboratively with the General Manager and Course Director on strategy, planning, and development
  • Uphold and enhance the club’s strong member-focused ethos
About You:
  • An experienced greenkeeper ready to step into a leadership role, or an established manager seeking a fresh challenge
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality playing surfaces and member experiences
  • A strong leader with excellent communication and team management skills
  • Forward-thinking, with a desire to innovate and continuously improve

PACKAGE & BENEFITS
  • Salary: Attractive salary dependent on skill set and experience (to be discussed at interview stage)
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Weekend overtime paid at time and a half
  • Full-time, permanent contract
  • 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
