Mental Health First Aid Training Course
Thanks to the support of Baroness & Kubota, BIGGA members are invited to gain an internationally recognised Mental Health First Aid qualification, free of charge, as we seek to build a nationwide network of support for those working in the sports turf industry.
As a Mental Health First Aider, you’ll be equipped with the knowledge and skills to recognise mental health problems and crises, provide initial support and signpost to further help. You’ll be joining a network of BIGGA Mental Health First Aiders who are committed to reducing the stigma of mental health and supporting those in the greenkeeping community.
Developed in response to the well-documented pressures faced by greenkeepers and turf professionals, the programme delivers accredited training designed to equip members with the skills to recognise and respond to mental health challenges in themselves and others.
The course is available to BIGGA members free of charge thanks to Baroness and Kubota.
This is a Members-only course with limited space available. Lunch is included on both days. Any additional costs related to travel or accommodation are not included.
Attending this course will earn Members 10 CPD credits.
As this course is free of charge, we kindly ask that cancellations are avoided.
*Please Note* Due to high-interest, there is now limited availability for this course.
