Exciting Opportunity for an Assistant Green Keeper to join and become a member of our team at Cosby Golf Club.
 
Cosby Golf Club, established in 1895, is entering an exciting period of transformation. We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Greenkeeper to join our passionate and forward-thinking team.

This is more than just a greenkeeping role. It is an opportunity to contribute to a club investing heavily in its future, with a clear vision to deliver exceptional playing conditions, environmental sustainability, and long-term course excellence.

To work within the team completing routine tasks and projects to maintain the golf course to a high standard as expected by the members and guests of Cosby Golf Club.

The ideal candidate will need to possess the following qualifications, experience and skills:
  • The ability to work individually or as part of a team
  • A flexible approach to work as early starts and weekend work is required
  • Reliable and hardworking with excellent presentation skills and attention to detail
  • A positive attitude with good time management and communication skills
  • Must be able to get to work on time, without relying on public transport or others
  • Good work ethic
Preferred but not essential qualities include:
  • PA1, PA2 and PA6 spraying certificates. (desirable)
  • Chainsaw certificates. (desirable)
  • Good golfing knowledge
  • Desire to progress in industry
  • Experience with irrigation
