Copt Heath Golf Club, Solihull West Midlands, has the ambition to continually improve the playing, this starts in the workshop with machine reliability and set up. The opportunity of Equipment Technician has become available to continue this development.
The club boast a world leading maintenance facility, already kitted out with a vehicle lift, Bernhard Grinders and a vast array of tools and equipment. It has been recently renovated with painted floors and office space.
The club has just signed a Partnership deal with Toro, with several machines due to be delivered imminently. To aid the smooth running of the facility the Ground2Control system is employed. You will be expected to work closely with the Course Manager to manage the busy schedule. You will be required to aid the greenkeeping staff on the course at times.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Maintaining the fleet to manufactures guidelines

Unit Set-up
-
Manage maintenance schedules around the requirements of course work

Identify faults and repair machinery

Maintaining the workshop
-
Maintaining the Equipment budget
-
Being active in aiding with procurement of machinery

Maintaining Health and Safety in the Workshop

Maintaining and executing a grinding rota for all machinery in accordance with the Course Managers expectations

Developing a grinding service to other local clubs
You will ideally have the following skills/experience:

Experience of machinery maintenance
-
Budgeting
-
Time management
-
Grinding experience
-
Greenkeeping experience
Further training or refresher training will be available as required.

Salary Range £36,000 - £44,000 dependant on experience
