Leadership and Management Summit

Hosted by Alison Walker - the freelance sports journalist, TV presenter and live event host, who works for amongst others, BBC 5 Live, World Curling TV, Rangers TV, Eurosport and the Olympic News Channel. A good number of you will have seen her in action hosting previous BIGGA Scotland Conferences over the years.

The morning includes sessions from Michael Braidwood CCM with Megan Brown of Bruntsfield Links on Changing the Face of Golf Club Management, panel discussion on recruitment within the industry with Jackie Davidson (The R&A), Jenny Bledge (BIGGA) and Jack Cole (DP World Tour), and the challenge of attracting greenkeepers session with Gordon McKie and Andrew Ritchie of St. Andrews Links.

With keynote early afternoon session by Lora Caven - a high performance coach and keynote speaker who has worked with leaders and teams across golf, hospitality, and beyond. Immersed in the golf world for most of her career, she combines insider understanding of the industry with fresh external perspective. Lora is known for her energetic, practical style and her ability to cut through the noise to what really matters for leaders and teams. In her keynote How Do We Keep Our Best Talent? she will explore how golf leaders can engage, retain, and inspire their people.

Ticket price includes tea/ coffee on arrival and a soup & sandwich lunch.

This event is open to all managers at your club - with prices at £30pp for one place or £25pp for two or more from the same Club - ideal for General Manager, Course Manager, Club Professional, F&B Manager, Assistant Manager and Club Chair/ Captain to attend together.
