Mechanic
St George’s Hill Golf Club, a world-ranked, Harry Colt-designed 27-hole heathland private members’ club in Surrey, is seeking an experienced Mechanic to take responsibility for maintaining a premium fleet of turf machinery and equipment.
Working as part of the Course team, the successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operation of the workshop, machinery and yard, ensuring all equipment is safe, reliable and maintained to the highest standards.
Requirements

Proven experience maintaining turf machinery and equipment within the golf, sports turf or grounds industry

Competent using systems for service records, stock control and budget information

Full UK driving licence

Strong mechanical and technical skills, including diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance

Ambitious, self-motivated and committed to continuous improvement

An appreciation of very high standards

Excellent communication skills

Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
