💰 Salary: £30500 per year (OTE)

🕒 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Crompton and Royton Golf Club is seeking a motivated and reliable Level 2 Qualified Greenkeeper to join our course maintenance team. Working under the direction of the Course Manager, you will play an important role in maintaining the golf course to a high standard and ensuring excellent playing conditions for members and visitors.

• Carry out daily course maintenance including mowing greens, tees, fairways and rough
• Assist with course set-up including hole changing, tee marker placement, and bunker raking
• Support turf maintenance tasks such as aeration, top dressing, overseeding, and fertilising
• Operate and maintain turf machinery safely and effectively
• Assist with irrigation system checks and repairs
• Maintain health and safety standards across the course
• Support course improvement projects as required
• Play a key role in an exciting course development project, assisting with the construction of a brand-new golf hole including a green, tees, bunkers and a water feature — offering valuable
• experience in golf course construction

• Level 2 qualification in Sports Turf / Greenkeeping (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working on a golf course or sports turf environment.
• Knowledge of turf maintenance practices and machinery
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
• Full UK driving licence preferred

• PA1, PA2, PA6 spraying certificates
• Chainsaw certification
• Experience with irrigation systems
• Experience operating a range of turf maintenance machinery
