Orient Irrigation Services have an exciting opportunity for a competent Head of Sales & Aftersales. We are looking for an individual to support and grow our sales and aftersales business across UAE. Selling market leading brands including John Deere, Tru-Turf, Etesia, Efco, Maruyama, Campey Turfcare Systems, Fieldking, Wiedenmann, Trimax Mowing Systems & Dennis/SISIS. The successful candidate should be a forward-thinking individual preferably with knowledge of modern dealership systems and service department operational proficiencies. Good IT skills are essential so you can use all of the tools we have available. The successful candidate would also benefit from knowing the local area. We offer a very competitive salary for the successful applicant with bonus, medical insurance and company car.
Responsibilities:

Achieve the location's business plan objectives, including sales targets, budget management, and cost control

Oversee sales activities, develop strategies to increase revenue, and ensure the planning and execution of marketing activities and events

Foster effective communication within and across departments (parts, service, sales)

Lead, train, and motivate the dealership team, which includes hiring, development, coaching, and performance evaluation of department managers and staff

Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations

Manage inventory control for equipment, parts, and accessories

Oversee daily operations, including facilities maintenance, security, and professional appearance of the location

Manages employee development activities for employees reporting to this position

Build and maintain strong customer relationships, address complex inquiries and complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across all departments (parts, service, sales)

Coordinate with suppliers and vendors
Skills & Qualifications:
-
10+ years’ experience in dealership operations
-
Proven management experience in a retail, customer-facing, or service department environment, preferably within the agricultural or construction equipment industry

Understanding of the financial principles relative to sales and aftersales department operations

Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills to manage diverse teams and complex operations

Ability to use standard computer applications, internet functions & sales tools

Familiar with John Deere and competitive products

Ability to analyse financial reports and data, manage budgets, and make informed commercial decisions

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff, customers, and corporate partners

Ability to work extended hours and weekends
