Head Greenkeeper

Insch Golf Club is a well established parkland course with stunning views over the town of Insch and beyond. Located on the edge of the village, suitable for all levels of golfer, with a friendly member’s clubhouse.

The successful candidate must have proven ability to be able to manage the greenkeeping staff and the golf course in line with the clubs strategic plans. Ensuring the maintenance, upkeep and continual improvement of the golf course.

The role is permanent and full time. As a an established member of the team, you will be key in the development of a course maintenance programme. You will be responsible for ensuring the course is presented to our members and guests in the best possible condition, and you will also play a leading role in future projects and improvements. Attention to detail is important.

• Skilled in turf maintenance, drainage management and irrigation operation & management
• Possess good management, communication and leadership skills
• Competent in the use of a wide variety of machinery, including its maintenance
• Fully competent, in monitoring and maintaining health, safety and security in the workplace
• Have the ability to work within a budget
• A full UK driving licence is required
• NVQ level 2/3 in Greenkeeping and Sports Turf Management
• Spraying and chainsaw qualifications
