WE ARE LOOKING FOR: HEAD GREENKEEPER (M/F/D)
LOCATION: 3532 NIEDERGÜRNBACH / NEAR KREMS, LOWER AUSTRIA
START DATE: IMMEDIATELY OR BY AGREEMENT
EMPLOYMENT: FULL-TIME
The Diamond Golfclub Ottenstein is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Austria, known for its natural design, excellently maintained fairways, and top-level sporting standards.
To ensure our course remains in first-class condition, we are currently looking for a committed individual to join our team as a Head Greenkeeper (m/f/d).
YOUR PROFILE:

Completed training as a greenkeeper or head greenkeeper (e.g. GVD certification, BIGGA, etc.)

Several years of professional experience in greenkeeping, ideally in a management role

Solid expertise in turf care, machinery, irrigation, and plant protection

Leadership skills, organizational talent, and a strong sense of quality

Independent, responsible working style

Good computer skills (e.g. MS Office, maintenance management software)

Passion for golf and sensitivity to the expectations of demanding members and guests
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overall responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of the 18-hole golf course and practice facilities
- Professional and personnel leadership of the greenkeeping team
- Planning and implementation of maintenance measures according to modern standards and ecological sustainability
- Management and monitoring of the machinery and irrigation systems
- Organization and coordination of external service providers
- Close collaboration with club management and participation in the strategic development of course maintenance
