Assistant Greenkeeper
Royal Aberdeen Golf Club are seeking an ambitious Assistant Greenkeeper to join the course maintenance team at one of the world’s most prestigious links golf courses. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining the course to the highest standards, ensuring exceptional playing conditions year-round for members and visitors alike.
Founded in 1780, the 6th oldest golf club in the world regularly features in the top 100 golf courses in the world rankings and has played host to a number of top amateur and professional tournaments such as the Scottish Open, the British Seniors Open, the Walker cup and the Amateur championship.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
- Educated to a minimum of SVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Sports Turf Management
- A strong work ethic is essential to ensure that productivity and standards are high at all times.
- Ambitions to continually develop personal skills in line with industry qualifications
- Work well as part of a team
- A flexible approach to work hours and weekend duties
Working Conditions
- Full-time with variable start times throughout the year depending on course utilisation.
- Working week, Monday to Friday with weekend overtime on a rota basis
- 28 days holiday
