Royal Aberdeen Golf Club is seeking an ambitious Assistant Greenkeeper to join the course maintenance team at one of the world’s most prestigious links golf courses. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining the course to the highest standards, ensuring exceptional playing conditions year-round for members and visitors alike.

Founded in 1780, Royal Aberdeen is among the oldest golf clubs in the world and consistently features in the top 100 global course rankings. The Club has proudly hosted some of golf’s most respected amateur and professional events, including the Scottish Open, The Senior Open Championship, The Walker Cup, and The Amateur Championship. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the presentation and performance of a world-renowned championship links.

We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate:
  • A minimum SVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Sports Turf Management
  • A strong work ethic with pride in delivering high standards
  • Ambition to continually develop skills and industry qualifications
  • The ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • A flexible approach to working hours, including weekend duties
Working Conditions
  • Full-time with variable start times throughout the year depending on course utilisation
  • Working week, Monday to Friday with weekend overtime on a rota basis

Salary scale is £28,000 to £32,000 subject to experience and qualifications.
