Assistant Greenkeeper

Nene Golf Ltd, located in Peterborough in Cambridgeshire, is renowned as one of England’s finest Pay & Play destinations with a reputation for excellence on and off the course. We have two golf courses (Thorpe Wood Golf Couse & Orton Meadows Golf Course), which have recently celebrated a key anniversary.

The post will be based at Thorpe Wood Golf Course, which is a parkland golf course situated in the centre of Peterborough. 

Full Time role working with a team of Greenkeepers under the direction of the Course Manager.

• Competency in operating and maintaining a fleet of golf course machinery and equipment
• Competency in Health & Safety across all facets of golf course management
• Solid understanding of greenkeeping principles and practices
• The ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
• The ability to work in a team and be a team player
• Excellent communication skills
• A high level of attention to detail
• An interest in golf (desirable)

• Previous experience of working outdoors
• Full UK Driving Licence

• Previous experience of Golf Course Maintenance

£13.45 p/h based on 40 hour week. Plus the opportunity for overtime.
