Assistant Greenkeeper - Harpenden Golf Club
Salary: £33,000 (plus paid overtime)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Greenkeeper to join our team. The successful applicant will play a key role in maintaining the golf course to a high standard, ensuring excellent playing conditions for all golfers.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and present the golf course to a consistently high standard

Assist in delivering excellent playing conditions throughout the year

Operate and maintain a range of turf care machinery

Work collaboratively as part of the greenkeeping team

Ability to work regular weekend overtime
Essential Requirements:

Minimum Level 2 qualification in Sports Turf / Greenkeeping (or equivalent)

Proven experience within a golf course or sports turf environment

Strong knowledge of turf maintenance practices and operation of machinery

Good teamwork and communication skills

Positive attitude with a strong work ethic

Full UK driving licence (preferred)
Desirable Skills:
-
PA1, PA2, PA6 spraying certificates

Chainsaw certification
-
Experience with irrigation systems

Experience operating a wide range of turf maintenance machinery
