Bloxwich Golf Club - Senior Greenkeeper
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Greenkeeper join our course team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to play a key role in the ongoing development, presentation, and maintenance of our course to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers to a high standard of presentation and playability

Mow and prepare turf surfaces using specialised golf course machinery

Repair divots, pitch marks, bunker edges, and general course wear
-
Set hole positions and tee markers in line with agreed rotation schedules
-
Prepare the course daily for general play, competitions, and events
-
Operate, inspect, and assist with the maintenance of irrigation systems
-
Monitor turf health, soil moisture, and environmental conditions
-
Safely operate, clean, and maintain machinery and equipment, reporting any faults promptly

Assist with course improvement projects including renovation, landscaping, seeding, aeration, and drainage works

Work in accordance with all health & safety procedures, risk assessments, and club policies

Strong work ethic with attention to detail and pride in presentation

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Willingness to learn and develop within the role. Experience & Qualifications (Desirable)

Previous greenkeeping or grounds maintenance experience (desirable but not essential)

NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf Maintenance or working towards a qualification
-
PA1/PA2 spraying certificates or willingness to train

Full UK driving licence preferred
Working Hours:

Early morning starts, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis

Flexibility required to support tournaments and seasonal demands
