Pollok Golf Club, established in 1892 is situated in the southside of Glasgow’s Pollok country park surrounded by mature woodland and overlooked by Pollok House. This premium parkland golf course was designed by Dr Alister McKenzie and hosts several high profile events. Pollok Golf Club is looking to recruit a suitably Qualified Greenkeeper to join the Greenkeeping team on a full-time basis.
A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to further their career in greenkeeping. Working under the Course Manager and his Deputy, the role will allow the successful candidate to contribute significantly to the maintenance, presentation and redevelopment of the course both for members and visitor golfers.

A minimum of three years sports turf experience

Level 2 certification in sports turf

High level of attention to detail and excellent time management skills

A good knowledge of health + safety and safe working practices

A good understanding of equipment maintenance and machinery setup

PA1, 2 and 6 (or willing to complete immediately)

Full UK driving licence

The ability to work to a weekend rota
