Head Greenkeeper Vacancy Hessle Golf Club, East Yorkshire
Hessle Golf Club is a private member’s golf club founded in 1898. The club moved to its current site in Raywell 50 years ago, it has since developed into one of the finest courses in the East Riding. The club is an 18 hole rural parkland course set in 127 acres with excellent practice facilities including a driving range, practice area and 2 putting greens. The club has recently hosted the England Golf Ladies Club Team Championship and the Ladies Northern County Finals.

Be responsible for all aspects of course management and development.

Have previous experience as a Head Greenkeeper.

Hold recognised industry qualifications including, NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Greenkeeping, PA1, PA2 and PA6 spraying certificates, Chainsaw and first aid certification

Be able to formulate and manage budgets and liaise closely with the Manager, Course Director and the Board

Manage and motivate the greens team to produce the best possible playing conditions whilst ensuring safe practices at all times
This is a “hands-on” position with the applicant demonstrating excellent leadership, staff management and communication skills with a proven track record of high standard course upkeep and presentation.
Salary: this will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
