DEPUTY COURSE MANAGER
Ely City Golf Course is a Par 72, 6537 yards Henry Cotton designed parkland course located on the outskirts of the Ely City. Opened in 1962, and extended to 18 holes in 1973, the course provides a true test for golfers of all abilities. The course has been consistently rated in the top 5 courses in Cambridgeshire.
The Club have just invested in a new Rain Bird irrigation system covering the Greens, Tees and Approaches. The club are also investing in new machinery as part of an ongoing plan.
We are in the process of increasing the reputation of the Ely City Golf Club by improved presentation, refurbishment of tees, bunkers, installation of drainage.
We are looking to appoint a candidate who is looking for a rewarding role as a Deputy Course Manager. The successful candidate will need to be focused and driven. Reporting to our Course Manager.
Key Requirements:

Practical greenkeeping skills / NVQ level 2
-
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Greenkeeper

Punctuality

Driving Licence
-
Positive attitude
The desirable skills to add-value to an application include, but are not limited to:

Play Golf to a reasonable standard

PA1, 2 and 6 spraying certificates
