Bernhard Academy

The Bernhard Academy, operating as a standalone business alongside Bernhard and Company, is the turf industry’s foremost education provider, offering educational workshops to provide expertise and qualifications in a range of key topics.

Based at the Bernhard and Company manufacturing facility in Haverhill, Suffolk, the Bernhard Academy also operates out of one of their satellite educational facilities at Moortown Golf Club in Leeds.

The Bernhard Academy exists to help support and grow the turf industry through quality education that includes options for greenkeepers, mechanics, and maintenance professionals. The Academy is there to aid professional development and has been created based on the needs of the end user.

In addition to delivering workshops on mechanical and grinding techniques and best practices, the Academy will be developing leadership, management, and agronomy content as a key strategy to further develop and certify existing Equipment Managers, Course Managers, and leaders.

The vision for the Bernhard Academy is to be globally recognised as leaders in professionalising the turf industry and the people within it.
