Turf and Landscape Matters 2024

BIGGA will once again partner with our colleagues at CAFRE to provide a series of educational presentations during the Turf Matters Day at Greenmount Campus.  Presenters include John McLoughlin from Wallasey Golf Club; Jenny Bledge from BIGGA talking about the First Green Initiative; and Gary Smith from the STRI.

 Presentations on the day include:

10:30 - Gary Smith , Agronomist from STRI discussing good practise on sports turf

12:00 - Jenny Bledge from BIGGA introducing the First Green initiative aimed at introducing schoolchildren to greenkeeping practises

1:15 - Andrew Culbert from ProPitch discussing his involvement in preparing the pitches for the African Cup of Nations

2:00 - John McLoughlin from Wallasey Golf Club discussing how to use good management practises to get the best out of the team
