UPDATE:
Following the launch of the online platform for the BIGGA Virtual National Championship, which was designed to be a fun and casual version of our championship that was open to every BIGGA member, we received a bit of feedback that has led us to have a bit of a rethink.
It’s been an incredibly busy year for BIGGA members and that’s continued through into the autumn. With that in mind, a number of members who would like to have taken part in the event have said the tournament’s previous time restrictions meant they were unable to get involved.
With that in mind, we’re going to spread things out a little bit. We are now allowing members to play both rounds at times that are suitable to you, so long as the final round’s score is submitted on or before Thursday 29 October. You still need to play two rounds of golf, but you can do so whenever is convenient for you. And you can still play at a course of your choosing and alongside anyone – although it would be brilliant if you could get together with other BIGGA members for two fun rounds of socially-distanced golf.
We’re also pleased to announce that there will be a £1,000 prize fund (subject to entries) with the chance to win Love2Shop high street vouchers that can be used at over 20,000 UK shops including Halfords, Argos, Go Outdoors and many more – perfect with Christmas quickly approaching.
A portion of your entry fee will continue to go towards the BIGGA Greenkeepers Benevolent Fund, helping support past and present members of the association who encounter financial difficulty.

Cost
The event costs £25 to get involved, significantly cheaper than the usual BIGGA National entry fee. Of that amount, £10 will be donated directly to the Greenkeepers Benevolent Fund, helping to support fellow BIGGA members who encounter hard times. The remaining £15 will go towards administration and prizes.
