Carlisle Golf Club
9:30AM - 2:30PM, 18 Nov 2025

The presenters on the day are ....

Dr. Robbie Fitzpatrick

This session will explore how greenkeepers and club managers can understand, improve and communicate their sustainability performance, helping to protect the environment while simultaneously strengthening the future of their business. We will explore the organisational benefits of sustainability and walk through a clear Sustainable Golf Pathway with tools and support to help you get started and drive even further.

Jenny Bledge

Curious about First Green but not sure where to start? Possibly think that it’s too tricky, too time-consuming or maybe “not for you”? Join Jenny Bledge for a 30-minute session where she will break it down, share fresh ideas, and show how simple (and rewarding) it can be to open your course to the next generation. Whether you just want to dip your toe in or are ready to plan an event, you’ll leave inspired, reassured, and ready to give it a go.

Stefan Carter and James Walker

R&A Sustainable Championship Agronomist Stefan Carter and Assistant Agronomist James Walker discuss how performance data collection and interpretation play a vital role for the Championship Agronomy team in the buildup to and during their Championships. This presentation focuses on the equipment used, as well as discussing why the data collected is important and how it is used to assist with agronomic decisions during Championships. Integration of the USGA GS3 and clipping yield data were implemented to existing data collection during the 2025 championship season which improved delivery standards for the Championships.
