About the Employer
Our client is a well-established, regionally significant distributor of premium turf, irrigation and mobility solutions across Southeast Asia.
The business represents leading global manufacturers and supports customers across golf and sports turf, as well as a broad non-golf portfolio including HISAL sectors — Hotel, Industrial, Sports, Agricultural and Landscape.
The Singapore operation plays a strategic regional role, with strong governance, clear accountability and a people-first culture.
The Opportunity
This is a senior aftersales leadership appointment and the second-most senior role within the Singapore Turf & Equipment business, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
The role leads the Parts & Services / Aftersales function, with responsibility for performance, growth and profitability across both golf and HISAL markets.
You will manage a multi-disciplinary team of approximately 18 staff, spanning service, warehouse, logistics, administration and business support.
The focus is firmly on commercial leadership and growth — identifying aftersales opportunities, partnering with sales on tenders and key accounts, engaging principals and customers, and providing clear insight and reporting to senior leadership — rather than hands-on technical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the Parts & Services / Aftersales function with full P&L accountability
- Identify and execute aftersales growth opportunities across golf and HISAL sectors
- Work closely with the Sales team on tenders and major opportunities, contributing aftersales input and solution design
- Engage confidently with principals, customers and external stakeholders
- Prepare and deliver high-quality management reports and presentations
- Build alignment, accountability and performance across a diverse team
- Maintain disciplined forecasting, reporting and governance standards
About You
You are a commercially minded leader with:
- Aftersales experience in automotive, equipment, machinery or related industries (preferred)
- Strong customer-facing capability and comfort operating externally
- The ability to analyse performance, build business cases and present clearly to senior stakeholders
- Experience leading teams and managing commercial outcomes
- A practical, credible leadership style — ambitious but measured
You bring a positive, accountable, can-do approach, with an entrepreneurial mindset and the judgement to deliver without over-promising.
