Assistant Greenkeeper - Waterton Park Golf Club
Waterton Park Golf Club is a private members' club located in Walton, Wakefield. Established in 1995, the club features an 18-hole championship course and extensive practice facilities.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Greenkeeper to join our dedicated team.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A high level of attention to detail

The ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks

A strong work ethic and positive attitude

Flexibility to accommodate early starts and weekend work

A solid understanding of greenkeeping principles and practices

Experience in fertiliser, wetting agent, and chemical applications

Competency in operating and maintaining a wide range of turf machinery
Essential Requirements:

Proven experience as a greenkeeper

NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Sports Turf Maintenance

Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable (but not essential) Qualifications:

Chainsaw certificates (felling and cross-cutting)

Knowledge of irrigation systems (maintenance, repair, operation)

Spraying certificates: PA1, PA2, and PA6

This is a full-time, permanent position.
