Measuring in at larger than a tennis court and almost as big as a basketball court, the GreenTek stand is the largest reserved for the Warwickshire Event Centre exhibition so far, with more than 40 other leading companies in the turfgrass industry signed up to be involved in the event, which takes place on 21 and 22 July 2021.

Marcus Oliver is product development manager at GreenTek and he explained why the company has decided to go big at the turf event of the summer.

"We decided that the show was likely to be so busy with everyone just raring to get out and be together after lockdown that we wanted plenty of space to display a wide range of machinery and to give everyone plenty of circulation space," Marcus explained. "GreenTek has alway been a regular exhibitor at BTME and so the cancellation of this year's show was a big blow! However, we see the Festival of Turf as the ideal replacement, given the current circumstances. The timing is ideal and we are sure that after many months of restrictions the whole turf maintenance industry will be itching to get together and catch up with each other and to see all the latest product launches."

GreenTek specialises in turf improvement attachments to fit onto triple mowers, compact tractors and utility vehicles. A large slection of the range will be displayed on the stand, including the new Turf-Conditioner 12. This is a 3.6m wide turf groomer for fairways and outfields, with folding wings and three rows of adjustable rakes, plus a rear brush.

Marcus added: "The Turf Conditioner 12 was launched this spring and customer reception has been fantastic! It is highly effective at removing thatch and standing up the grass for a cleaner cut. It is very simple to operate and maintain and it is inexpensive to purchase. It ticks all the boxes!

"All our other favourite products like the Thatch-Away Supa-System and the Dynamics range will be there. The Dyna-Seeders are increasingly becoming a 'must-have' for courses who want to improve the quality of their turf. The ability to quickly overseed with the desired grass species whenever the conditions are optimum, is something that every greenkeeper would like to be able to do.

"We are looking forward to a great show!"

If you're an exhibitor there's still chance to book your place at the show by contacting [email protected]. Registration is also open for attendees to sign up for a spot at this summer's premier turf event, the Festival of Turf.
