BIGGA Scotland / SGCMA: Golf Industry Managers - Working in Partnership

BIGGA Scotland and SGCMA work in partnership to provide an education and golf day for Course Managers/Head Greenkeepers along with the General Manager/Secretary aimed at enhancing the working relationship of the individuals in these vital roles at golf clubs.  The format of the day is as follows:

09:00   Registration (including tea / coffee and breakfast roll) and welcome from Scottish Golf Ltd.

09:30   Robbie Fitzpatrick from GEO on the Sustainable journey

10:30   John Kemp – The R & A - Project Manager - Golf Course 2030 - Golf courses and those who manage them have never experienced greater pressure. Changing and unpredictable climate, ever-increasing golfer expectations, changes to legislation, and increasing resource costs. Golf Course 2030 is a global industry programme aimed at developing practical resources to address challenges and maximise opportunities for sustainable golf course, and help you to secure the future of your most important asset.
