Deputy Course Manager – Harleyford Golf Club (Buckinghamshire)
Harleyford Golf Club is set within the stunning private Harleyford Estate, which dates back to the 12th century. Nestled on the north bank of the River Thames, the course lies within 160 acres of beautifully maintained grounds, near the Grade I Listed Georgian Manor House and its riverside moorings. Ranked No. 7 in Buckinghamshire (Top 100 Courses), the club has hosted numerous PGA events, including the EuroPro and Clutch Tours.
With exciting development plans ahead—including the installation of a state-of-the-art irrigation system covering greens, surrounds, tees, approaches, and fairways starting in October 2025—this is a unique opportunity to join our progressive and ambitious team.
We are seeking a committed and experienced professional to take on the role of Deputy Course Manager. Flexibility is essential, as the position includes overtime as needed and weekend work on a 1-in-3 rota basis.
Key Requirements:

Proven leadership experience in a greenkeeping or turf management role

Minimum 5 years of greenkeeping experience

Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf; Level 3 desirable or willingness to enrol

PA1, PA2A, and PA6 spraying certificates

Strong communication skills and team leadership ability

Knowledge of irrigation system maintenance and repair

Chainsaw certification (desirable)

International experience in turf management (desirable)
