Location: 136 Stafford Road, Bloxwich, Walsall, West Midlands, WS3 3PQ
Salary: Competitive, Performance driven, dependent on experience.
About Us:
We have a 18 hole mature, undulating parkland course full of distinctive character which makes full use of its natural hazards to provide a good test of golf.
The Role:
We are seeking a hands-on, passionate, self-motivated, driven Course Manager with a ‘can do’ approach to lead the continued development and maintenance of our golf course. You will lead a team of 6 staff with varied experience and knowledge and work closely with our Management Team.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, motivate and develop the greenkeeping team to deliver excellent course conditions

Manage and deliver on all aspects of our continued improvement plan, including liaison with external contractors

Ensure ongoing compliance with all health and safety, environmental and legal requirements

Monitor and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources

Oversee the maintenance of all course machinery in line with our capital replacement plan

Manage and monitor budgets to ensure efficient uses of resources
Applicant Requirements:
-
Proven experience in a senior greenkeeping role with good knowledge of the game of golf

Excellent organisational and communication skills
-
NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Greenkeeping and Sports Turf Management. PA1, PA2 and PA6 spraying certificates

A passionate team leader with very good communication skills

Maintain a visible & approachable presence with members and guests promoting a culture of excellence and service
