Assistant Greenkeeper
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the Greenkeeping team at Golf House Club, Elie.
Long a well-kept secret within the golfing world, the Links at Elie has recently been recognised in the top 100 courses in the UK and Ireland and delivers a picturesque and memorable experience.
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated full time Assistant Greenkeeper to join our team. Our team is responsible for maintaining 27 holes for golf as well as various other sporting activities including Crown green bowls, tennis courts and driving range facilities.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Punctuality.
- Hard working, friendly attitude.
- Flexibility to working hours including weekend work on a rota basis.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience.
- Minimum SVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge in the use of greenkeeping equipment.
- A team player with attention to detail.
- Be able to communicate effectively within the team.
- Ability to problem solve and make effective decisions.
- Construction experience preferred but not essential.
- Have a focus to continual personal development.
- A full UK driving license.
