Initial Sports Line Marking

The course is aimed at sports turf, ground staff, and lawn care professionals seeking to develop their knowledge in the efficient, safe and legal aspects of line marking and the basic skills needed.

Learning outcomes: By the end of the courses, the learner will be able to;

1. interpret the rules of the sport when setting out and marking out.

2. Understand and read the required dimensions of the sports pitch etc from a     diagram.

3. Provide safe working practices and environment when marking out.

4. Be competent in the use and maintenance of marking machines.

5. Be competent and understand the cost effective best practices of the different types of materials availableand be able to calibrate them properly.

This is an entry level qualification so there are no specific entry requirements.

Duration is 6 hrs 1 day 
10th July  (0830 arrival for 0900-1600 and 1 hr lunch) maximum of 12 attendees.
