Class 20: Maintaining motivation during difficult times

This seminar is for you if you have concerns about the team’s motivation during these difficult times.

What can you do to maintain motivation during periods of threat and uncertainty?  During these days of difficulty (to quote Virginia Satir) ‘most people prefer the certainty of misery to the misery of uncertainty’. Learn how to help others to make the most of these tough times. Find out if low morale in the team is actually your fault! Why too much praise might not be enough and how too little could be too much. Learn how to motivate yourself to motivate others.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Be sure of yourself - find out if low levels of morale and motivation at work are actually your fault.
  • Get on the right track - by checking out if you are giving colleagues at work too much praise or too little
  • Learn from the best - discover how to apply the key lessons that great leaders have taught us – especially about dealing with adversity
  • Be more aware – learn about how your example and reactions impact other people
