Assistant Greenkeeper
Links Golf Club, Newmarket is one of the most renowned golf courses in the area and the venue of choice for many County and Regional events.
The Links, founded in 1902, is an established 18-hole parkland course situated within open heathland, adjacent to the famous Newmarket Racecourses. The course is known for its high standard of design and maintenance, on free draining chalk making it playable throughout the year.
We are inviting applications for the position of Assistant Greenkeeper. The applicant should be highly motivated with a strong work ethic and be able to work as part of a team.
Preferred requirements for candidates are:
- NVQ Level 2 or higher.
- PA1,2 and PA6 spraying qualifications preferred.
- Full driving licence
- 2 years minimum greenkeeping experience
Competitive salary plus generous overtime rates. Uniform, work meals, free golf and pension contributions provided. Rota based weekend work will be required.
