Tyler Bloom is the Principal owner of Tyler Bloom Consulting, a workforce and talent development consulting firm that he started in 2020. Tyler specializes in search and placement, apprenticeship development, diversity and inclusion training, youth mentorship and career coaching. He spent 17 years in the golf industry including experiences at Oakmont Country Club, Merion Golf Club, Southern Hills Country Club, Muirfield Village Golf Club, Sunnybrook Golf Club and the last six as Director of Grounds & Facilities at Sparrows Point Country Club in Baltimore, Maryland.
In 2020, Tyler was recognized by Golf Course Industry as the Kaminski Award winner for social media leadership, the 2020 Leo Feser award by the GCSAA. He is a 2009 graduate of Penn State University's Turfgrass Science program, has an Executive Certificate in Talent Acquisition & Recruitment and is a certified partner with the Predictive Index.
