Technical Sales Position – GBR Technology Limited

Territory:  Wales, Midlands and East Anglia

GBR Technology have an established sales and manufacturing presence in the sports amenity market with an excellent reputation for quality and service.  Supplying both end users and resellers, our amenity business is growing strongly with sales growth of over 40% in our last financial year.  We supply a wide range of products for use on sports turf including wetting agents, fertilisers and biostimulants as well as many other items.

The business is also underpinned by a very successful specialist lubricant division distributing for large multinationals with an enviable customer list of well-known manufacturing organisations.  We have over 1000 customers active in any one year ranging from global organisations to SME’s.

We now have a vacancy for a Technical Sales role within our amenity business to cover an area including Wales, The Midlands and East Anglia.  The role will handle direct accounts as well as giving support to our resellers and with focus on continued business growth.

We are based in Berkshire although the successful candidate can be based out of a home office within (or very near) the territory discussed above.

The successful candidate will either already have a positive track record of selling within the sports turf market or be in the sports turf industry, possibly as a greenkeeper and have industry knowledge and contacts.  BASIS and FACTS qualifications would be desirable but not essential.  A full driving license and excellent communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships are essential.
