First Assistant Greenkeeper
Hill Barn Golf Club was established in 1935 and is a free draining 18 hole golf course in the South Down National Park with outstanding views down to Worthing and the English channel. The course has a strong membership and hosts many golf societies.
The successful First Assistant Greenkeeper candidate will work closely with and report to the Head Greenkeeper. They will need to be a team player, with a keen eye for detail and an ability to problem solve and contribute ideas to enhance the quality of the golf course. The candidate will need to have the skills for decision making and leadership in the head greenkeepers absence.
Applicants must be qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent and hold appropriate certificates in spraying (PA1/ PA2/Pa6) and preferably chainsaw licenses.
Full time contract to include weekends on a rota’d basis
