An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Greenkeeper.
Turfgrass Agronomy & Services is looking to recruit an assistant greenkeeper for a 9-hole newly built golf course located in Hertfordshire (30min from St Albans). He or she will see the course growing from seed and will assist with maintenance when established.
We are recruiting for an Assistant Greenkeeper to join our team. Applicants should be qualified to level 2 in greenkeeping/sportsturf with spraying and chainsaw certificates as an advantage but not essential. The candidate should have strong team orientation skills, work ethic and good communication skills. Additionally they should be responsible and have a passion for presenting surfaces of the highest quality.
The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary and benefits package including further training and will report directly to the Course Manager and his Deputy.

- NVQ Level 2
- Can-do attitude
- Knowledge of golf
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations
- Ability to produce and maintain high standards of work
- Team player
- Driving Licence
The Club has a modern fleet of maintenance equipment and is continually investing in equipment and the course.
The position is full-time, with required weekend work on a rota basis.
