BIGGA is the UK’s leading professional association actively working to enhance the professional reputation and well being of golf greenkeepers.
BIGGA welcome applications not only from experienced greenkeepers and greenkeepers still learning their trade but also from those who are interested in the fine turf industry, from Golf Club Managers to Representatives of companies related to the industry.
We believe that BIGGA is an Association where any greenkeeper or person interested in the fine turf industry can join and find someone or something to interest them.
Working on the Members behalf, the Association:
• Provides access to a wide range of education and training tools
• Publishes an award winning magazine
• Builds networks of greenkeepers and those involved in the fine turf industry
• Actively promotes greenkeeping to external audiences, working to increase awareness of the profession
• Provides careers advice and guidance for greenkeepers at all career stages
• Provides region and section events organised through our regional and section network
BIGGA provides a multitude of services, resources and opportunities for all members and offers an excellent platform to network. There are many opportunities for continuing education and improving job-related skills, which are becoming necessary for today and the future.
