There are many agronomic programmes that influence the playability and health of putting greens, but organic matter management is arguably the most important. This seminar will discuss the variables that inflence organic matter build-up e.g. grass species, fertility, water management and how to determine if organic matter levels are concerning in their putting greens. It will thoroughly discuss the most effective programmes for managing organic matter inputting greens including top dressing, aeration, verti-cuttingandsand-injectionaeration.
