Toro Student Greenkeeper of the Year Award
The Regional Interviews are complete and the eight finalists have been selected to attend National Finals at BIGGA House on 12 and 13 September 2010. The Finalists are:

Gavin Moore from Launceston Golf Club, representing Duchy College
Andrew Stanger from Horsforth Golf Club, representing Askham Bryan College
Stephen Thompson from Bearsted Golf Club, representing Hadlow College

Acknowledged as the highlight of the student greenkeepers’ year,
success in the competition will book you on an eight week trip
stateside to study the latest American turf management techniques, with
the chance to tour Toro headquarters and join the BIGGA visit to the
GCSAA Golf Industry Show in Orlando in February 2011.
The two runners-up will be invited to attend the ‘Continue to Learn’
Education Programme during Harrogate Week 2011.
To be eligible for the competition, you must be nominated by your
college and course tutor and your entry sanctioned by your college or
training provider.
