We are currently looking for an experienced Courses Manager to join the already strong Golf management team. We offer a highly competitive salary and excellent company benefits.

Overview:

This is an exciting and newly created opportunity for a professional Golf Course Manager to head up our three championship courses and Academy courses, regarded among the very best courses in the world. Having recently undergone a restructure within our golf maintenance operation, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced courses manager to work with the Director of Agronomy and Estates in leading the maintenance department through the ‘One Team’ approach.

Accountabilities:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and engaging leader with a solid track record of people management and their development. You should have a thorough understanding of the day to day operation of a golf course and leading a golf maintenance team, as well as having played an active role in the strategic planning of golf course maintenance, activities and work programmes including financial planning. Reporting directly to the Director of Agronomy and Estates you will have direct responsibility for 50 plus employees. Managing weekly meetings you will ensure that all team members are kept up to date regarding both the courses and the hotel, while promoting the organisations values and creating an environment that promotes good morale amongst the team and clear communication. For our members and guests you will provide them with information and be responsive to feedback and comments.

The perfect candidate:

Similar experience of golf course management is essential, within either a 5* Golf Resort or standalone Championship Golf Course. You must have great people skills and the ability to take a highly skilled team on a journey of training and development to ensure they are maximising on their contribution to the team and the hotel.
