Changes at Wentworth

Kenny Mackay will become Wentworth’s Golf Courses Manager when Chris Kennedy retires at the end of June.
In a press statement released by Wentworth, the club announced: “We are delighted to announce that we have recruited a replacement for Chris in Kenny Mackay, who will be joining us as Director of Golf Courses and Grounds from April 30. There will be a handover period of two months until June 29, when both Kenny and Chris will be at the Club.”
Chris has been Golf Courses Manager at Wentworth since
February 1990 and will be delivering his final BMW PGA Championship in May. When
Chris retires he will have managed the course for a staggering 52 European Tour Professional Golf events.
Kenny joins Wentworth from The Belfry, where he has been Director of Golf
Courses and Grounds since 2005. Kenny has gained a wealth of experience in golf
course management over the last 18 years having worked at The London Club,
Hanbury Manor and The Forest of Arden before joining The Belfry.
