BTME proves a huge attraction

The second day at BTME is traditionally the busiest and yesterday proved no exception with a remarkable 3810 visitors choosing to spend their Wednesday in Halls A, B, C and M with us. That marked an increase of over 1000 on the Wednesday of last year when 2728 attended the figure is even more impressive than in 2010 the last four Hall show when 2657 visited. That’s an increase of 1253 from 2010.

The two day total now stands at 6819. That’s a huge number of people who have taken advantage of all that Harrogate has to offer and they will reap the benefits of what they have experienced over the course of the week.

“I’m delighted that Wednesday built on the great success of Tuesday. I hope that everyone who has attended whether it be as an exhibitor or a visitor will believe that it is time well invested,” said BIGGA CEO Jim Croxton.

The increase in the attendance figure and the optimistic feeling within the Halls was confirmed by one exhibitor.

“It has been super. I would say that it is the best Show we have attended in six years. We have had plenty of enquires over the two days and hopefully that will lead to orders,” said Blec Director, Gary Mumby.

Thursday is traditionally a more relaxed day but visitors are still coming through the doors and it is not unknown for large orders to be secured in the last few hours of the Show.
